Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
Cordi is a digital life journal for your pets (dogs and cats). This policy explains what data is handled and how.
1. Data stored locally
Cordi is built local-first: nearly all of your data stays on your device and is never sent to a server.
- your pet's details (name, species, sex, date of birth, arrival date, profile photo, weight);
- the journal: events, activities, memories, photos;
- local reminders and notifications;
- your preferences (language, colour, Premium trial).
This data lives in a local SQLite database and in your device's files. No user account is required and none of it is transmitted to Cordi or to third parties. Uninstalling the app deletes all local data.
2. In-app purchases and Premium subscription
In-app purchases (monthly or yearly subscription) are handled by Apple through the App Store. Payment processing is subject to Apple's privacy policy.
Purchase validation uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.), an in-app purchase infrastructure provider. RevenueCat only receives the information needed to validate the subscription (purchase identifier, subscription status) and receives no personal data about your pet or your journal.
3. Notifications
Reminder notifications are generated locally on your device. No data is sent to an external notification service.
4. Photos
The photos you add (portrait, memories) are stored in the app's library on your device. They are never uploaded.
5. Analytics and diagnostics
Cordi collects no analytics, diagnostic or tracking data: no third-party analytics SDK and no advertising identifier. This policy will be updated if that ever changes.
6. Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data.
7. Your rights
You have full control over your data: it lives on your device, you can edit or delete it at any time, or uninstall the app to erase everything.
8. Contact
